Guest TDIBULL Posted November 16, 2010 Report Posted November 16, 2010 Hi I have a 2000 1.9 SE auto Alhambra which has a new engine fitted by stealers at 50,000 miles. Now 660 miles later she has not got as much power as before, and feels slugish, like the auto box is holding back/not changing up, ie 40 mph 2500 rpm,and flat out 75 mph 4500 rpm:angry: .Changed oil and filter, fuel fiter and air filter all genuine VW, checked vacum hoses, exhaust clear, disconnected Maf and she ran even worse. Had car from new,all original never abused, no problems till now.Have heard of brake switch causing probs, but mine works. Any help ? Thanks! :) Quote

Guest TDIBULL Posted November 16, 2010 Report Posted November 16, 2010 Take it back and demand they fix it under warranty. Thank's Seatkid, as you know stealer's never help, only when they are taking your money. Not the place for explaining why I am taking legal action, only to say I know it will take a long time to resolve!. Hence the original question, can anyone help?, as I need the car back on the road asap. Thank's again. Quote
